Hebron under lockdown as Israeli demolitions and attacks escalate

Al Jazeera English5 hours ago2:16

Nearly half a million Palestinians in Hebron are under Israeli lockdown and attack, as extensive Israeli demolitions have left the city's Farsh al-Hawa area unrecognisable, raising fears of what may await the rest of Hebron. More than 200 families were forced from their homes overnight, and some houses have been occupied by force and turned into military outposts. The Hebron municipality has set up temporary shelters, and the Palestinian Ministry of Education has told schools to keep children at home for the coming two days.
