Eritrean soldiers have reportedly been seen driving through northern Ethiopia. Eritrea denies that its troops have crossed the border town of Zelambessa. The alleged sightings come as fighting intensifies between government forces and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). Ethiopia has accused Egypt, Eritrea and Sudan of supporting an armed alliance of opposition groups. All three countries deny involvement. Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from Nairobi, Kenya. Alan Boswell is the Horn of Africa Director at the International Crisis Group. He says that a reported incursion of Eritrean forces into Ethiopia could push the two countries into war.
