The Democratic Republic of Congo is facing its deadliest Ebola outbreak on record, with more than 2,600 people killed in about 100 days. More than 5,000 cases have been reported, with the virus spreading rapidly across affected communities. Health workers are struggling with limited resources, insecurity and difficulties tracing contacts, making efforts to contain the outbreak increasingly challenging.
