DR Congo protests grow over fears Tshisekedi could seek a third term

Protesters in the Democratic Republic of Congo have again taken to the streets over proposed constitutional changes, which critics say could allow President Felix Tshisekedi to seek a third term beyond 2028. Parliament passed legislation in June outlining a referendum framework, though the Constitutional Court flagged concerns before ruling it compatible with the constitution.
