This incident follows a similar event last Sunday when approximately 240 colonists reportedly entered the mosque compound through the Moroccan Gate. Local sources told Wafa that these colonists conducted prayers and rituals, which is a violation of the 1967 status quo agreement governing the site. The Al-Buraq Wall plaza is located west of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
