StoneX Group announced on August 19, 2026, that it has acquired Advanced Marketing Group (AMG), a company specializing in the merchandising of feed, pet food ingredients, and organic fertilizer. This acquisition will be integrated into StoneX's Supply & Trading unit, significantly expanding its product line within the Commercial segment to include animal-based protein feed ingredients.
Founded in 2010 and based in Wilsonville, Oregon, AMG serves pet food manufacturers, dairy and poultry producers, feed mills, feedlots, and fertilizer brands. The company employs approximately 20 trading and operations professionals across Oregon, Kansas, Texas, Virginia, and Canada, supported by a network of trans-load and storage facilities.
StoneX highlighted that the deal adds new underliers in animal-based protein, expands its client base, and enhances its geographic reach across North America. AMG's owners, Ted Skinner and Pete Schoonveld, stated that StoneX's capital and infrastructure will enable growth opportunities previously unavailable to them. Brent Grecian, CEO of StoneX Supply & Trading, noted AMG's established business, supplier relationships, and 'approved supplier' status as key assets.
The acquisition bolsters StoneX's physical commodity trading operations, which have shown substantial growth. In the fiscal third quarter ended June 30, 2026, StoneX's physical contracts business generated $87.4 million in net operating revenues, a 162% increase year-over-year. The broader Commercial segment reported $326.4 million in quarterly net operating revenues, up 90% from the prior year, with segment income rising 119% to $181.4 million.
Consolidated results for StoneX in the same quarter showed net operating revenues of $719.7 million, up 47%, and net income of $127.9 million, up 102%. Diluted earnings per share were $1.00, an 85% increase, adjusted retroactively for a stock split. This acquisition marks StoneX's third deal in thirteen months, following its agreement to acquire Banco Travelex and the earlier purchase of R.J. O’Brien.
