A second person has been charged in connection with the shooting of a police officer in Nottingham. Jahmal Ruddock-Senior, 35, has been charged with assisting an offender. The incident occurred on October 18, 2026, when PC Lee Lane was shot with a sawn-off shotgun at a bus stop on Angel Row. PC Lane remains in hospital receiving treatment. Earlier, Aisha Zaman, 27, was charged with possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offense.
