A Russian air attack on a residential area of Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast, on October 11, 2026, resulted in at least seven casualties. According to Sloviansk's Mayor, Vadym Lyakh, three FAB-250 bombs were dropped on a residential area around 10:00 Kyiv time, injuring seven people, three of whom required hospitalization. Lyakh also reported another person wounded by shelling in a separate residential area.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Telegram that the strike hit a five-story block of flats, completely destroying its entrance hall and raising concerns about people being trapped under the rubble. He characterized such attacks as constant, noting that Russia had launched approximately 1,450 aerial bombs, 75 missiles, and over 1,640 attack drones, about 60% of which were jet-powered, in the preceding week alone.
