SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- The presidential office has set up a task force to prepare for a potential golf outing between President Lee Jae Myung and U.S. President Donald Trump later this year, sources said Tuesday.
Cheong Wa Dae formed the team shortly after Lee's trip to the United States and Mexico last month, during which he met Trump in New York, according to political sources. During their summit talks, Trump instructed White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles to arrange a golf round with Lee.
While the golf session has not been confirmed, observers have raised the possibility that it could take place on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Miami in December.
