The survey also revealed that 49% of Americans say they understand democratic socialist policies, while 47% do not, highlighting challenges for the progressive movement.
The poll, conducted over three days and concluding Sunday, found that 27% of respondents believe democratic socialists have at least some good ideas, while 51% believe they have few, if any. Similarly, 27% of respondents believe MAGA Republicans have at least some good ideas, while 57% see few or no good ideas from the group.
President Trump's approval rating rose to 37%, but 69% of Americans, including 40% of Republicans, feel he has not clearly articulated the goals of the military engagement in Iran. White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales stated that Trump's decisions are not influenced by "fluid opinion polls" and reaffirmed his commitment to national safety.
