A Palestinian was killed and others were injured on Thursday in an Israeli strike east of the al-Maslakh area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to Wafa news agency. Muhammad Nasser al-Bayouk was identified as the fatality.
Another Palestinian was injured by Israeli army gunfire north of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery renewed its shelling of the eastern areas of Gaza City.
