A man has been charged in connection with the Manchester synagogue attack, where two men were killed. Hekmat Omar Ali Hakim, 49, faces charges for failing to disclose information regarding terrorist activity and has been remanded into custody. This charge is the first to directly relate to the morning of October 2, 2025, when Jihad Al-Shamie attacked the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue and was subsequently shot dead by police.
