Israeli warplanes carried out a series of strikes in southern Lebanon on Saturday, according to Lebanon's National News Agency. One strike hit the outskirts of Sarbin, near Haris in the Bint Jbeil district. A separate, heavier raid targeted a house between Haddatha and Haris, completely destroying it. The strike coincided with Israeli artillery shelling on the outskirts of Haddatha.
The Israeli military said its air force struck Hezbollah targets across several areas in southern Lebanon, including observation posts used to launch attacks against Israeli troops. The strikes took place after two soldiers were wounded when their vehicle drove over a Hezbollah explosive device in an area of southern Lebanon occupied by Israeli troops, the military said.
