This performance surpassed the LSEG consensus estimate of T$58.8 billion and marked a substantial improvement from the T$44.4 billion reported in the same period last year. The company attributed the strong results to continued high demand for AI servers.
Revenue for the April to June period reached NT$1.79 trillion, a 16% increase compared to the prior year. Gross profit rose 14% to NT$113.5 billion, while operating profit saw a 27% jump to NT$56.6 billion. Net profit attributable to the parent company's owners also increased by 27% to NT$44.4 billion. Despite the high unit price of AI server products impacting gross profit margin, the overall growth momentum contributed to improved profitability.
For the first half of 2025, Foxconn reported revenue of NT$3.44 trillion, up 20% from the previous year. Net profit for the first six months surged 52% to NT$86.5 billion. The company's rotating CEO system is reportedly on track, with Kathy Yang participating in the investor conference call for the first time.
Looking ahead, Foxconn anticipates significant growth in the third quarter, driven by the traditional peak operating season and strong performance in cloud and networking, as well as smart consumer electronics. The company maintains its full-year outlook for significant growth, citing AI server demand and stable mass production, while remaining aware of geopolitical and exchange rate fluctuations.
