The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) accused Tehran of targeting civilians and private property, calling the attacks a violation of international humanitarian law. In response, all military units in Bahrain have been placed on high alert and are at advanced combat readiness.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for missile and drone strikes targeting the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
