Rescuers search for 5 missing after deadly landslide in India's Kerala state

Multiple landslides in Asia have led to fatalities and ongoing rescue operations. In India's Kerala state, heavy monsoon rains caused a deadly landslide near a tunnel construction site. At least three people have died as a result of this incident. Rescue teams are currently searching for five individuals who remain missing. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the specific cause of the landslide.

Separately, in China's Gansu province, a significant landslide occurred in Nanhe township, Longnan city. This event resulted in the deaths of five people and has left 12 individuals trapped. The landslide buried a total of 33 people. Rescue operations are actively underway to locate and assist those still trapped. Authorities have also relocated residents from the affected area as a precautionary measure.
