Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, has renewed her demand for governments to halt trade with Israel and stop supplying it with weapons.
Albanese stated that states should have acted when others first warned them about Israel’s conduct, responding to a former Israeli ambassador to France who urged the public to recognize that there are “genocidaires” in the Israeli government. She emphasized that it is "never too late" for countries to intervene, urging them to "Cut trade with Israel now. Arms embargo now."
