Ukrainian drones struck 14 energy facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea over three days, exacerbating widespread power outages on the peninsula, according to Commander Robert Brovdi of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces. Krymenergo, the Russian-installed energy operator, confirmed that power restrictions were in effect across Crimea, citing a difficult situation in the northwest, east, and south.
Brovdi stated that a total of 154 energy facilities have been struck across Russian-occupied territories, including substations in Simferopol and Feodosia in Crimea, as well as in Kherson, Luhansk, and Donetsk oblasts. The Kyiv Independent could not independently confirm these claims. Ukraine has increased its long-range strikes targeting airfields, fuel infrastructure, and military-industrial facilities.
In other developments, Russian forces have destroyed all gas stations along the highway between Poltava and Kharkiv, with the last one struck in Valky on July 26.
