The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced on August 18 the detention of a suspected Russian agent in Kharkiv Oblast. The individual is accused of registering 27 Starlink terminals in the front-line city of Izium, which were allegedly intended for use by Russian forces. Investigators stated that the equipment was meant to facilitate the coordination of assault units and drone strikes within Kharkiv Oblast.
