The body of Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old Ukrainian woman suspected of carrying out a bomb attack in Monaco, was discovered near Kyiv, according to Ukrainska Pravda. Interpol had identified Berezovska as the primary suspect in the attack that injured Ukrainian-born businessman Vadym Yermolaiev and two others. Law enforcement sources told Ukrainska Pravda that Berezovska was found shot dead near the Ukrainian capital on Monday evening. Monaco authorities had indicated the attacker fled the principality by car, traveling through several European countries before reaching Germany. In connection with the case, Ukrainska Pravda reported that two individuals have been detained in Ukraine: one identified as an officer with the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), and the other as a former law enforcement officer. Yermolaiev, who received Cypriot nationality in 2019, was previously sanctioned by Ukraine in 2023 for conducting business in Russian-occupied Crimea.
