Save the Children accuses Starmer of complicity in Israeli atrocities

The charity highlighted the UK's ongoing supply of F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel, despite a partial arms suspension implemented in 2024. Accompanying the post was a photograph of a plaque that read, “KEIR STARMER witnessed 73,000 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces, including 21,000 children, and kept supplying arms to Israel.”

Save the Children UK declared, "History will remember your complicity." The organization also noted that while nothing can change the past horrors faced by Palestinians, the next Prime Minister has an opportunity to end the UK government's role as an ally to atrocities, referring to incoming leader Andy Burnham. They questioned, "What will your plaque say?"

The UK-based children's charity is advocating for a suspension of all arms sales to Israel, a halt to the UK-Israel trade and partnership agreement, and a ban on trade with illegal settlements.
