Russian strikes have resulted in the deaths of 28 people in Ukraine's southern Odesa region throughout July, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper. Kiper stated that the region endured constant daily shelling and numerous air raid alerts during the month, with civilian, industrial, and port infrastructure being targeted.
On July 15, Russian forces killed three people and injured at least three others in an attack on Odesa. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed to have hit targets in the ports of Odesa and nearby Chornomorsk, as well as four vessels. Meanwhile, Ukraine reported hitting 20 Russian vessels in the Black Sea.
More recently, on July 24, Russian attacks killed at least four civilians and injured at least 33 others across Ukraine.
