Russian forces launched a series of missile, drone, and guided bomb attacks across Ukraine, resulting in at least six fatalities and dozens of injuries. In the eastern city of Balakliia, three people were killed overnight by strikes on homes. The northern region of Sumy also experienced heavy attacks, with three people killed and at least 19 wounded in various settlements. The city of Sumy itself saw 12 more wounded following an attack with guided aerial bombs. A drone strike in the southern region of Kherson injured six people. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia launched over 120 drones and 12 missiles, with half being ballistic, and noted that civilian infrastructure was hit before air raid alerts were issued.
