This follows a large-scale Russian missile and drone attack on July 30 that targeted multiple oblasts, including Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Cherkasy. That earlier strike resulted in at least eight deaths and over 50 injuries.

In the subsequent night, Russia launched another extensive aerial assault, deploying 255 Shahed-type drones. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted 195 of these drones across the country's north, south, and east. However, 22 drones managed to strike targets in 14 locations, with debris falling in four additional areas.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, attacks on the Nikopol district resulted in three deaths and seven injuries. Pavlohrad was also targeted on July 30, with two fatalities and five injuries, while other communities in the region sustained one injury.

Kherson Oblast reported four fatalities and five injuries across 49 targeted settlements, including the regional center.

In Sumy Oblast, seven men were injured in the Krolevets community, and two women were injured in Romny community due to separate drone attacks.

Kharkiv Oblast saw four people injured in Vilshany, a 72-year-old woman in Kharkiv city, and a 43-year-old man in Zolochiv.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast reported six injuries from Russian strikes.

In Donetsk Oblast, one person was injured in Sloviansk, three in Kramatorsk, and another in Druzhkivka.

Chernihiv Oblast's Semenivka community sustained four injuries from Gerbera drone attacks.
