Russian forces launched a widespread assault across Ukraine overnight, utilizing missiles and drones, which resulted in at least seven civilian fatalities and 58 injuries over the past 24 hours. Regional authorities reported the casualties on July 26.
According to Ukraine's Air Force, the attacks involved one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile, seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 136 long-range attack drones, including Shahed-type drones. Ukrainian defenses successfully intercepted the X-59/69 missile, five of the seven ballistic missiles, and 104 of the drones. However, two missiles and 27 drones managed to strike 18 locations, with debris from intercepted weapons impacting seven additional sites.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported that two people were killed and four injured by drones, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. A 74-year-old woman died when her car was hit by an FPV drone, and another woman, aged 35, was killed when a drone struck a supermarket and a residential building.
