Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past 24 hours have resulted in at least five deaths and 35 injuries, according to Ukrainian officials. In Kryvyi Rih, President Volodymyr Zelensky's hometown, two people were killed when a Russian drone struck an industrial enterprise. Another person died near Nikopol from a drone attack. In Dnipro, a food industry facility was severely damaged, though no casualties were reported.
Kherson reported one death and two injuries from a drone strike overnight, followed by an attack on a bus and bus stop that injured at least four. In total, 15 people were injured in Kherson and the surrounding oblast due to attacks targeting hospitals, public transport, homes, and ambulances. In Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast, one civilian was killed and six injured.
Kharkiv sustained injuries to 12 people, including a 16-year-old girl, from drone shelling that also damaged apartments and businesses. An additional six civilians were injured in Kharkiv Oblast. Ukraine's Air Force reported that its defenses downed or suppressed seven of the 13 missiles and 95 of the 115 drones launched by Russia.
