Netanyahu: Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his firm stance against Iran acquiring nuclear weapons, stating that such a development will not occur under his leadership, with or without a diplomatic agreement. Netanyahu emphasized that Israel's actions have already thwarted Iran's nuclear ambitions.

During a speech at the graduation ceremony for the IDF's pilot course, Netanyahu highlighted successful operations, including those conducted with the United States, which he claimed prevented Iran from arming itself with nuclear weapons. He described these preemptive strikes as crucial in averting a threat to Israel and the Western world.

Defense Minister Israel Katz also addressed the ceremony, sending a direct message to the Iranian regime and its leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, whom he claimed was eliminated in a past operation. Katz asserted Israel's strength and determination.

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir confirmed the military's readiness for immediate action, stating that hundreds of aircraft and tens of thousands of personnel are on alert. He specifically mentioned monitoring Iran and Lebanon for any potential threats.

The Israel Air Force commander, Maj.-Gen. Omer Tischler, addressed the new pilots, acknowledging their training during wartime and the resilience demonstrated by the Air Force in various theaters of operation, including actions within Iran.
