Jordan intercepts drone and missile launched from Iran

The Jordanian army announced that its air defenses intercepted a drone in its airspace. The Jordan Armed Forces later clarified that the Royal Jordanian Air Force had intercepted a missile launched from Iran, along with two drones directed toward Jordanian territory, within the past 24 hours. Military officials confirmed that air force units successfully dealt with these threats with "efficiency and professionalism." Separately, the Public Security Directorate reported that its units responded to six incidents involving falling debris and projectiles across the country during the same period. While no injuries were reported, some material damage did occur. Authorities have reissued warnings to the public against approaching or tampering with any suspicious objects and urged reliance on official information sources to avoid spreading rumors.
