Israeli forces raided the Qalandia refugee camp, located north of occupied East Jerusalem, on March 27, 2026, resulting in injuries to a Palestinian youth. According to the Wafa news agency, a large contingent of soldiers entered the camp and fired live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas. Local sources reported that the forces also stopped vehicles during the operation. The raid followed the funeral of Mustafa Hamad, who had been shot and killed by Israeli forces at the camp's entrance earlier that day. The Jerusalem Governorate stated that soldiers fired intensively towards youths leaving the cemetery, critically wounding one in the head. Israeli forces also raided Hamad's home and positioned snipers on nearby rooftops.
