An Israeli attack west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza wounded four Palestinians on Sunday evening, according to the Wafa news agency. Medical teams transported the injured to al-Awda Hospital.
Separately, an Israeli airstrike killed four Palestinians in Gaza on Tuesday, the territory's civil emergency service reported. Relatives of the deceased gathered at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. Medics and relatives stated that the four killed, including two brothers, were civilians. Three of those killed on Tuesday were members of the local police, who died when an Israeli air strike hit a vehicle in the Nuseirat refugee camp. Earlier, a separate strike in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood of northern Gaza killed a senior figure from an armed group linked to Fatah.
Hamas accused Israel of attempting to create famine in Gaza by continuing to suspend aid and severing its last working line of electricity to the enclave. Aid groups have stated that this electricity cut would deprive Gazans of clean water. A desalination plant in Deir al-Balah has been operating at approximately 30 percent capacity on backup generators following the power cut. The head of the UNRWA in Gaza warned of growing humanitarian needs and the risk of another hunger crisis if aid blockages continue.
