Israeli military forces raided the headquarters of the Solidarity Charity Association in Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and ordered its closure for one year. The military alleged that the organization was "supporting terrorism" or "providing services to an illegal organization," according to reports from Palestinian news agencies and local sources.
Residents reported that military vehicles entered refugee camps east of Nablus before troops entered the charity's offices, vandalizing the building for over two hours. The entrance was sealed, and a military order was posted announcing the closure of the association, also referred to as the Al-Tadamon Charitable Society or Madeed Charitable Society.
Separately, Israeli forces conducted raids across several towns in the West Bank on the same day, including Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, Salfit, Jenin, and Qalqilya, detaining several Palestinians. These incursions occurred amidst an escalation of Israeli military operations and settler attacks in the West Bank, which have resulted in numerous Palestinian casualties and arrests since October 2023.
