Iran's top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that the conflict with the United States will not conclude with Tehran's surrender. Ghalibaf, who also serves as Iran's parliament speaker, conveyed this message during a meeting with Ahmad Muzani, speaker of Indonesia's People's Consultative Assembly. He indicated that Iran is prepared for "all-out defence" should Washington betray recent agreements. Ghalibaf also shared that he had previously informed the US vice president of Tehran's distrust towards Washington, suggesting that only those prepared for conflict can effectively negotiate with the US. These remarks were disseminated via Ghalibaf's Telegram account. Separately, Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, warned that Tehran could cease honoring a memorandum of understanding with Washington if US attacks continue, accusing the United States of a "flagrant violation" of the UN Charter.
