The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has stated that Dutch authorities failed to take action against an Israeli reservist, Leon Khlebnikov, despite an urgent criminal complaint filed against him. Khlebnikov, an Israeli reservist and tank gunner, was in the Netherlands between July 26 and July 31.
The complaint, submitted to the Dutch National Public Prosecutor’s Office under the Dutch International Crimes Act, accuses Khlebnikov of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide against Palestinians. HRF's complaint is based on Khlebnikov's documented involvement in the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza, including a school in Rafah, which he allegedly posted on social media with captions portraying the destruction as entertainment.
