Dimension Capital, a venture capital firm founded in late 2022, has announced its third and largest fund to date, totaling $800 million. This new fund represents a 60% increase compared to its previous $500 million vehicle, which was raised just 18 months prior.
The firm, established by Zavian Dar, Adam Goulburn (formerly of Lux Capital), and Nan Li (formerly of Obvious Ventures), focuses on deep-tech companies operating at the intersection of science and compute, particularly in areas like biotech and software.
Dimension Capital has made several notable investments, including co-leading a $30 million seed round for Chai Discovery, a startup developing open-source AI foundation models for drug development. Chai Discovery recently announced a $400 million funding round at a $3.8 billion valuation.
The firm also backed the anti-aging startup New Limit in its Series A round in January 2025. New Limit, co-founded by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, has since completed a Series C round at a $3.1 billion valuation.
Additionally, Dimension Capital received shares in AI company Anthropic after Anthropic acquired its portfolio company, Coefficient Bio, a drug discovery platform, for a reported $400 million this spring.
