BlackRock Canada has introduced two new exchange-traded funds, marking a significant move in integrating digital assets into traditional investment portfolios. The iShares Equity + Bitcoin ETF Portfolio (IBQT) combines global equity exposure with a 3% allocation to Bitcoin, utilizing BlackRock's existing Canadian iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) for its cryptocurrency exposure. The remaining 97% of IBQT is invested in global equities through other iShares ETFs. The second fund, the iShares Core MSCI All-International Equity Index ETF (XINT), offers broad exposure to international markets outside North America, tracking the MSCI ACWI ex North America IMI Index.
