Bank of America announced on Friday that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.32 per share. This represents a 14% increase, or $0.04 per share, from the previous quarter's dividend.
The dividend is scheduled to be paid on September 25, 2026, to shareholders of record as of September 4, 2026.
Bank of America Chair and CEO Brian Moynihan stated that the dividend increase reflects the company's strong earnings, robust franchise, and confidence in its long-term growth prospects. He emphasized the commitment to returning excess capital to shareholders while supporting economic growth and maintaining financial stability.
In addition to the dividend increase, Bank of America continues to execute its common stock repurchase program under a $40 billion authorization. The company repurchased $13.2 billion of common stock and paid $4 billion in dividends during the first half of 2026. As of June 30, 2026, approximately $17 billion remained available under the current share repurchase program.
