Ethereum Foundation Appoints Pcaversaccio to Board

The Ethereum Foundation has appointed pcaversaccio, a long-time contributor and prominent figure in the security community, to its board of directors. This appointment marks an expansion of the leadership group responsible for the organization's strategic vision and governance. Pcaversaccio, also known as 'pc', will serve an initial one-year voluntary term. He is a security researcher and co-founder of SEAL 911, an initiative focused on emergency response. He has also been involved with the EF's Silviculture Society, an advisory group that guides the foundation on preserving its core principles such as censorship resistance, open-source development, privacy, and security. With this addition, the Ethereum Foundation's board now comprises four members: President Aya Miyaguchi, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Swiss legal counsel Patrick Storchenegger, and pcaversaccio. The board's responsibilities include setting the EF's strategic direction, ensuring management decisions align with the organization's values, and acting as a security council to safeguard the foundation's mission and ensure compliance with Swiss law.
