Binance has once again captured market attention by expanding its tokenized securities offerings, adding 15 bStocks as collateral assets across its Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin, and Portfolio Margin Pro accounts. This move allows eligible users to leverage these tokenized traditional securities to support their margin positions and explore additional trading opportunities.
The newly supported assets include tokenized versions of stocks from prominent companies such as Circle, MicroStrategy, Nvidia, Tesla, SpaceX, AMD, Microsoft, Meta, Intel, Micron, Sandisk, Palantir, and Lumentum. Additionally, the iShares MSCI South Korea ETF and the Invesco QQQ Trust have been included. Binance has also enabled margin trading for the corresponding bStocks pairs.
This expansion follows several recent product launches by Binance, including perpetual futures linked to MicroStrategy's STRC perpetual preferred stock and Take-Two Interactive. The exchange had previously broadened its tokenized stock offerings with new trading pairs for companies like Circle, Nvidia, Tesla, Micron, and Sandisk.
The announcement has brought renewed interest to several crypto stocks. Circle, the issuer of USDC, is gaining attention as its tokenized stock is now eligible collateral. MicroStrategy also remains under investor observation due to its recent capital allocation framework announcement, which suggests a potential Bitcoin sale. The broader collateral support is seen by investors as a significant step towards increasing the accessibility of traditional equities within cryptocurrency trading platforms.
