Egyptian fertilizer producer NCIC has issued a sales tender that will close on July 20. The company is offering 20,000 tons of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), 15,000 tons of Single Superphosphate (SSP), and 500 tons of water-soluble Sulphate of Potash (SOP).
In its previous tender on July 1, NCIC sold 10,000 tons of DAP out of 30,000 tons offered at $872 per ton fob. It also sold all 30,000 tons of SSP offered in the same tender at $260 per ton fob.
For water-soluble SOP, NCIC did not award the 500 tons offered in its July 1 tender. However, it had previously sold 500 tons at $740 per ton ex-works in a June 24 tender.
The DAP and SSP will be sold in bulk on a free-on-board (fob) basis, with all cargoes ready at Damietta port and scheduled for loading within 37 days. The SOP will be sold in 25kg bags on an ex-works basis from NCIC's Fayoum plant.
