Hannah Stephenson, a 31-year-old from Bassingbourn, experienced a distressing incident during a one-night stay at a Travelodge hotel on Newmarket Road in Cambridge on July 26. After a night out, she booked the hotel to avoid a taxi fare home. Upon waking the next morning, she discovered itchy red lumps across her body and blood spots on the bedding, which she identified as signs of bed bug bites.
