A three-year-old boy has been seriously injured after ending up in a crocodile enclosure at Johnsons of Old Hurst zoo near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Police were called to the scene and arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. The boy sustained serious injuries while in the enclosure and was pulled out by zoo staff, including the owner's wife, Tracey Johnson. He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. The arrested man, who is believed to be a stranger to the child and has learning disabilities, was released on bail. The boy is now reported to be in a stable condition and no longer critical.
