Harsh Pati Singhania, the Chairman and Managing Director of JK Paper Ltd and a Director of the JK Organisation, has been elected as the new Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
The election was confirmed following a meeting at the ICC's Global Headquarters in Paris on Thursday.
In his acceptance remarks, Singhania expressed his honor in taking on the role, highlighting the ICC's long-standing commitment to open markets, trusted rules, and human progress. He addressed ICC National Committees, emphasizing the institution's historical significance.
Philippe Varin, the previous ICC Chair, will transition to the position of ICC Honorary Chair, continuing his involvement with the organization.
