FuboTV announced on Thursday that Alisa Bowen, an executive from Walt Disney, will take over as CEO starting July 10. This transition marks the departure of David Gandler, who co-founded the streaming company in 2015 and has led it since its inception. Bowen brings extensive experience from her role as president of Disney+'s streaming platform and previous leadership positions at News Corp Australia, Dow Jones, and Thomson Reuters. Andy Bird, FuboTV's board chairman, highlighted Bowen's operational expertise, noting her experience with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Gandler will receive severance benefits as per his employment agreement and has resigned from the board, with his nomination for re-election withdrawn. Bowen's employment agreement includes an annual base salary of $1.58 million and eligibility for a performance bonus targeted at 120% of her base salary.
