Fubo is increasing its monthly subscription prices by $15, reversing a previous price cut implemented after losing NBCUniversal channels in November 2025 due to a contract dispute. The streaming service has now reached a new agreement with NBCUniversal, which allows for the restoration of some channels, including local NBC affiliates and Telemundo. However, Fubo subscribers will not regain access to nine channels that NBCUniversal spun off into a separate company called Versant in January, such as CNBC, SYFY, and USA Network.
When the NBCUniversal channels were initially lost, Fubo reduced its subscription prices. The Essential plan dropped from $85 to $74 per month, the Pro plan from $85 to $75, and the Elite plan from $95 to $84. Now, with the restoration of some channels, all plans will see a $15 increase, making them higher than their pre-dispute prices. Fubo cited rising programming costs as the reason for the price hike, stating in an email to subscribers that it needs to pass on some of these increases. The company had previously accused NBCUniversal of overcharging for the Versant channels and expressed a desire to integrate Peacock into its channel store, but the final deal did not include all desired channels.
