With India boasting nearly a billion active internet users, the company recognizes the evolving digital purchasing habits of its creator community. The reimagined store seeks to reduce barriers for businesses of all sizes, particularly new ventures looking to innovate and contribute to India's development. Since its 2017 launch, the platform has become a significant channel for customer acquisition in India, with over half of its first-time customers being startups, freelancers, and emerging businesses.
Kamolika Gupta Peres, Vice President at Autodesk India and SAARC, stated that digital is the expected channel for the current generation of users.
