Wispr Flow has officially launched its AI-powered meeting notetaker for Mac, a tool designed to transcribe and summarize meetings using system audio without requiring users to join the call. The new notetaker aims to compete with existing services like Granola, Fireflies, Read AI, Otter, and Fathom.
The company updated its Terms of Service and privacy policy to include provisions for the notetaker, specifying that "Input may also include Meeting Data, including meeting audio, participant information, meeting metadata, speaker labels, meeting transcripts, and other information processed in connection with a meeting." The "Output may include AI-generated meeting transcripts, summaries, action items, meeting insights, speaker attribution, and other meeting-related content."
