ContentLens, an AI-powered content intelligence platform, has appointed Hari Nair, former CEO of Tips Music, as a pro bono strategic advisor. Nair, who also has prior experience with Sony Music India, PPL India, and TikTok, will guide ContentLens on its expansion within the media and entertainment sector.
The company, based in Bengaluru, focuses on protecting music intellectual property, detecting celebrity likenesses, ensuring content provenance, and identifying deepfakes. This move comes as media companies, music labels, and artists face increasing challenges from unauthorized content replication and misuse of intellectual property driven by generative AI tools.
Nair stated his decision to join pro bono stems from his positive experience using ContentLens as a client, recognizing the critical need for AI-driven content protection in combating consent-less content replication and monetization. ContentLens, founded by Rohan Sahu, has already commercialized its technology with five major clients and secured patents for its fingerprinting, watermarking, and content intelligence technologies, positioning itself for further commercial growth.
