Hong Kong developer New World Development (NWD) is releasing 28 units of its Pavilia Rosa residential project in Kowloon Tong for sale on Friday. The units will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, a move seen as a test of buyer sentiment and demand in the city's property market, which is currently facing headwinds from a slumping Hang Seng Index.
NWD announced that the project has already achieved sales of 42 residences through a tender process, generating approximately HK$2.4 billion (US$306 million). The upcoming launch of the remaining units aims to gauge current market conditions.
