Four of the 29 whales, dolphins, and porpoises that washed ashore in Hong Kong waters last year are suspected to have died due to human activity, according to an annual report. The findings were published in the Hong Kong Marine Life Stranding Report 2025, a joint effort by the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. The report also highlighted an overall decrease in the number of marine life strandings.
