Two men in Hong Kong have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a 51-year-old man. Chan Wah-hing, 67, and Chan Yiu-lung, 33, were convicted of killing the man by suffocating him with tape in a village temple in September 2022, following a financial dispute. High Court Judge Anthony Kwok Kai-on described the killing as hideous and handed down the mandatory sentences on Monday. The pair also disposed of the victim's body by burying it under concrete outside the temple.
